I'm about to upgrade one of my machines and install an Nvidia 7300 card on it. It already has an onboard Intel graphics chipset. (Not sure which version, as I haven't fired it up yet.)
While I intend to just use the Nvidia card, I was also wondering if i might still be able to take advantage of the Intel connection and output a second desktop to that monitor? -- ---Bryen---
Depends on your hardware. If you have AGP, than the slot for external adapter is on the same bus and only one adapter will work. If your nvidia is using PCI slot than both adapters can work. If you have PCI Express than it is possible to have both adapters running. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
