Hi,
I've installed (upgraded from 10.2) openSUSE 10.3 and am unable to perform "Online Update." Every attempt is met with "No active update source is available." This is _after_ successfully proceeding through the "Online Update Configuration" (more than once), which, by the way, required me to "Trust and Import the Key" for an "Untrusted Public Key."
How do I get an Online Update source configured?
zypper sa http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/ updates
Before I got your mail, I tried what Igor suggested, and added the 10.3 update repository listed at http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories (the same URL you gave) as an ordinary installation source. This morning when I started the system, two updates were presented via the openSUSE Updater tray icon. I installed them via that icon successfully. I also find that now I can run the YaST Online Update module successfully.
Should I remove the update repository I added and issue the "zypper" command you gave?
No need, just leave it as is.
Also, on a related but new matter, I noticed this morning that in the "Configured Software Repositories" YaST module there are ten repositories I didn't add. They're called "migrated_0" through "migrated_9". What is their significance?
These are old ones from before your system upgrade. You should review them and remove/replace the 10.2 ones. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
