No matter what I try I can't get an audigy card working in openSUSE
10.3. The card worked before in PCLinuxOS and works in Windows. I tried
configuring the card in yast2, with alsaconf and blacklisting of the
onboard soundcard. Who knows what else I can try?

Here is some more information:
# lspci
00:0c.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Audigy LS
00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc.
VT8233/A/8235/8237 A
C97 Audio Controller (rev 60)

# cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
# User blacklist
blacklist snd_via82xx
