Next to try printer, and my Epson Stylus C87plus is known as Epson Stylus C87. Good. It was detected as Epson Stylus C80 in openSUSE 10.2. The print out is still a little bit too yellowish, but acceptable.
In openSUSE 10.3 there are two PPD files for this printer: /usr/share/cups/model/gutenprint/stp-escp2-c87.5.0.sim.ppd.gz Epson Stylus C87 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.1 Simplified and /usr/share/cups/model/gutenprint/stp-escp2-c87.5.0.ppd.gz Epson Stylus C87 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.1 The latter provides several controls to adjust the colors, in particular for yellow: StpYellowDensity/Yellow Density StpYellowGamma/Yellow StpYellowBalance/Yellow Balance Perhaps is helps to adjust those settings? See "man gs-stp" for some more information or have a look at /usr/share/gutenprint/doc/gutenprint-users-manual.pdf Kind Regards Johannes Meixner -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany AG Nuernberg, HRB 16746, GF: Markus Rex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
