In windows, yes. In Linux, it should be perfectly harmless, or it is a bug. It is just text, after all. And I was curious, because it seemed like a bash script in a single line (if it is, I don't know what it could be), so I tried.
Carlos, can you dump the mail to text and look at it in a hex editor to see if it contains any of the extended ASCII character set that might cause the problem.
