Hello all, could anyone tell me if they have experienced issues with older cdrom drives not particularly liking "burned" cd's of linux?
I guess it depends on how old your drives, but I'm using some Compaq drives from around '99 and up with no problems. these are >= 5years old p4 based servers.
I doubt if they're giving you any problem, especially if they can read other CDs. If I were you I'd try using a different CD burner.
I though at first it was the linux tools so I rebooted and burned a copy in Windows,
FYI, I only ever use k3b for burning CDs. It has never caused a problem, whether it was a VCD for our DVD player or a mini-ISO for installing suse. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - your spam is our business. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
