Note that the below works perfect i SLED 10, and SLED 10 with SP1 and used to work well in OpenSUSE 10.2. Maybe OpenSUSE has dropped this feature....
I run Kontact in KDE on OpenSUSE 10.2.
I use a network based calendar and address book in Kontact of the form: sftp://user@host/path/to/calendar (use calendar resource "remote file") sftp://user@host/path/to/addressbook (use address book resource "file")
This way I can without a complex software reach my calendar and address book data from everywere.
Both of these works perfect in 3.5.6-48-1. When I upgraded to 3.5.7-7.1 my address book resource just disappeared in Kontact. And it is not possible to add a new one of the same form (sftp or fish). It simply seems the feature is gone.... The calendar resource of the same sftp form still works though... But I miss my address book...
