I'm planning to build my own development workstation and want to use an AMD dual 64 bit processor. I'm currently trying to select a motherboard for use with openSUSE 10.2 (-64)
From general product reviews I liked the look of the Asus M2N32 WS Pro,
That looks very good from the asus website, especially the cooling concept imho is convincing. As a slight disadvantage, the memory is limited to 8GB, while comparable Gigabyte Boards offer 16GB max. I never had bad experiences with Asus boards. Just had first hand experience with bad Asus Linux support in regard to Laptops. In consequence, I will always happily buy another motherboard from Asus, but never ever will buy a Laptop, if Linux is the intended OS. regards Eberhard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
