From time to time I have to add users to the samba server during the work day. What I do now is after adding them to linux user then going an adding them to samba user via webmin an setting their password, I then have to restart samba server to make the changes take effect. I have to get all users to close out all files on samba server before I do this. Is there a way to reset samba so that the new user is added that I do not have to get all the other users to get off so that all open files are closed. It would be nice to just do this without having to get everything to close out all open files on the network. I hope this makes sense to you.
