Probably a poorly CDROM drive, if you can't swap this out do an FTP/network install.

OK. DVD works fine on the other machine. Look for something that degrades quality of transfer, connection cable or power line to the drive. Replace the cable for DVD drive, it can be the broken wire, it breaks sometimes at connector, or it could be some loose pin in connectors, broken or bad soldered pin on motherboard. Use another power connector, usually there are some spare hanging in the box. And check voltage, anyway. -- Regards, Rajko. http://en.opensuse.org/Portal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
