Hey, all --
Yahoo's got this antispam thing, DomainKeys (http://antispam.yahoo.com/domainkeys), that they're trying to standardize.
That's not only yahoo: it seems that Gmail.com is now adding DKIM signatures to their outgoing mail for about 3/4 weeks now (DKIM is an evolution of Domain Keys)
My company has a fair number of customers who use yahoo addresses, with whom we need to communicate (for customer service issues, order confirmations, etc). Because we're not using DomainKeys, it appears that our mail is pretty frequently being routed into Yahoo's "bulk mail" folder. (And, before anyone gets wise, it's single-instance, single-recipient messaging, not some kind of a ridiculous spam thing or something like that.)
Has anyone set up outbound DomainKeys signing on opensuse 10.2, or know of any good documentation on how to do so?
I think that the "best" way is to use DKIM Proxy which is an SMTP-proxy that signs and/or verifies emails. It is designed for Postfix and has two separate proxies, an "outbound" proxy for signing outgoing email (which is what you are interested in), and an "inbound" proxy for verifying signatures of incoming email (for that you could use amavisd-new which an opensuse's rpm) Unfortunately I don't think there's an opensuse rpm for the DKIM proxy (but I could be wrong), you will have to compile it by yourself but doesn't seem to be especially difficult Regards, Gaël
