I found that in my house I have three peaks that are more or less blocking all channels except for channel 1 and maybe 13 (for 802.11g anyway). Anyone interested in a picture can have one ;-). I don't know where those peaks come from, maybe the detectors of the alarm system. I set my AP to channel 1, and WinXP seems not to have a problem connecting. Suse10.1 on the same laptop (dual boot) can't connect : it times out after 60 seconds, as seen in Networkmanagers' logfile. Is
