On Sat, 27 Jan 2007 20:23:24 -0500, Mike McMullin took time to say the following:
(^_^)>
(^_^)> So instead of sda7, sda8, and sda9, it should be hd0,6, hd0,7 and hd0,8?
(^_^)> hd0,6 would still be the swap partition, correct?
(^_^)
(^_^) No it should still be sda?, if sda7 is your swap, and sda8 is your /
(^_^)then your grub menu list ought to point to /dev/sda8 and not /dev/sda7
(^_^)for your root partition.
It is (believe it or not) becoming much clearer! Guess I might be
burning the midnight oil. :-)
Thank You! Will let you know what happens!
Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't
want, to impress people they don't like.
