Yesterday, zen asked to update libzypp among other things. I let it go, and all seemed to go well. Among the updates was some X stuff, so I rebooted, and all seemed good.
Today, zen is asking to update hal, hal-32bit, and hal-devel. I've tried 3 times -- the last time trying a reboot between the tries. Each time when it tries resolving dependencies, I get a message box:
Dependency Resolution Failed child exited due to SIGIOT
What can I do to fix this?
Please file also a bugreport in bugzilla and attach the zmd-*log files,

In the past, when I have problems similar to this with Zen, I use the following procedure. 1) Run rczmd stop 2) Go to file /var/lib/zmd and delete zmd.db (You may feel more comfortable renaming it) 3) Run rczmd start (If you then go back to /var/lib/zmd, you'll see that it has re-created zmd.db but it will likely be much smaller than the one you renamed) 4) That clears zmd, but there may be updates out there that zen will no longer notify you of, so run YAsT Online-Update to get any pending updates. At this point, everything should be back in sync and zen should work again the next time any new updates become available.
