From a normal user account and KDE desktop why would Konsole suddenly start opening only as Root Shell? I'm talking about what should be the standard user Konsole, not a deliberate superuser invocation. It's the same whether invoked from the panel icon, or direct from the binary. As of yesterday I can't make it revert to normal behaviour, and no matter what I do it invariably starts in superuser mode and demands the root password.
I can see nothing in the configuration that would help explain this - ie, nothing that I can see has changed. I did change the font size and schema, but I've no idea if that accounts for the untoward behaviour (or why it might do so). Beyond that I've checked everything I can think of, but can't find how to make this thing revert to normal. It's no biggie, but it is annoying, and I'd like to know why. openSuSE 10.2, installed as a new installation a couple of weeks ago and working fine all round until this.
