Hello, So once, I configured a wired router using SuSE. It was a pretty easy take to me just a little tedious. I was wondering, anyone out there ever try to make a Wireless router using an opensuse box. I know I can probably just connect an access point to my current opensuse router but I once had someone tell me that if you have a wifi card in the system, you can make a wireless router out of a Linux system. Any ideas? Thanks.
You could do that. As far as the router function goes, there's no difference between ethernet & wifi. My firewall is based on SUSE 10 and has 3 ethernet ports. The 3rd one is for connecting to my WiFi access point. There is no reason why I couldn't have used a WiFi NIC instead. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
