My problem is the following: i have Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with a Nvidia That is the heart of the problem a newer ASUS MB with Nvidia chips. You may need to wait until there are drivers for it or drop back to 10.0. Either way with that combination Good Luck you'll need it.
CWSIV hmm... but it did work with 10.2 RC1. So i think there has something changed in 10.2 Final which has something to do with

greetz Hi, i installed a Dawicontrol Raid Controller DC-150, with a SiL 3512 Chipset and now it works. Not the best solution, but it works and im happy now ;)
I have several different raid controllers at the office, some scsi, some ide. In every case I have jumpered them for non-raid (just using their onboard controllers/channels as independent disk channels).
I then use Yast to configure software raid (as easy as falling off a log). It performs better than the built in raid these cards support. The channels don't get any faster, the the CPU is way better at this business than the whimpy little controllers these cards tend to have.
To not dismiss software raid.
yeah, but the problem is i have also windows on this raid... so i have a problem to use linux softraid. i use this computer for audio production.. switching between windows and linux. each os should have full power ;) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFitVUI2s6na0vU1cRAuMoAJ0QZajZpPPo0ERrsSWU6bilMyKzTACcCXQm 4aBZ1zBB2lo/yDWUOjCLkyA= =TfO7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
