Has anyone been able to install vmware on openSUSE 10.2? Which one? VMWare Server or VMWare Workstation?
It is complaining that: The directory of kernel headers (version @@VMWARE@@ UTS_RELEASE) does not match your running kernel (version 2.6.18.2-34-default). I have: kernel-default-2.6.18.2-34 kernel-syms-2.6.18.2-34 kernel-source-2.6.18.2-34
and uname -a shows: Linux suse102 2.6.18.2-34-default #1 SMP Mon Nov 27 11:46:27 UTC 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I don't know if there are any particular issues with 64 bit processors, but I suppose you have done at least a make cloneconfig + make modules_prepare on your kernel sources.
