It has a P965, not a G965--no on-board graphics.
I found an internet blurb regarding the P5B Deluxe not working correctly on the pre 10.2 builds... one said that they were hoping the official 10.2 release would correct the problems but weren't helpful. Unfortunately, it was a chat list like this one and who knows whether the tips were bogus or not... and the bottom line was to hold off on buying the ASUS board (versus an official Intel board) because the ASUS boards are notorious for having a mix-mash of components that may not be linux friendly--- whereas the Intel boards are generally more faithfully tested... again, could be crap.
It worked just fine on 10.2 Alpha5, Beta1 and RC1. This was the first release for which the problem showed up. The most common problems have been the non-Intel IDE support provided by a JMicron chip ('cause Intel's latest chipsets don't include IDE support, just SATA) and a improper selection of driver for one of the Ethernet ports. Both of those had work-arounds and have since been fixed.
