Sure, there is problem with sync mounting of usb devices (#105871) You can test it by type mount -o remount, async /dev/sdb1 (if /dev/sdb1 is where your disk is mounted) do not forget to run async, after copying. If problems will still prevail, post bug. Sure I will try that. I tried windows 00 in vmware with the same stick and run a lot faster I guess vmware has a different driver or something... Probably unrelated again, when I put the same stick in using SuSE 10.1 it does not load all the time sometimes I have to restart the machine or take it out and put it back in again...right now it just does not work.. K3B show an entry for "SanDisk - U3 Cruizer Micro" the stick has software from that company that allows you to install programs and run them under windows. I am not sure if that is what is interfering with it loading properly. When I click on storage media nothing shows up... Any suggestions on that???
