Hi, I wanted to try out soundconverter, a GNOME application to convert audio files. I installed it, and while calling I get the message: SoundConverter 0.8.88888888 Gstreamer version: 0.8.11, Python binding version: 0.8.3 using gnomevfssrc LAME GStreamer plugin not found, desactivating MP3 output. Well, where can I get the "LAME GStreamer plugin"? I have packman and suser-guru in my apt sources.list, at first sight it is not there; I installed all gstreamer-* packages from there. lame is from packman, too. Neither "apt search gstreamer" nor "apt search lame" got something that I could identify with that package. I needed to install python-gstreamer from the GNOME supplimentary repository for soundconverter; but I did not re-install all the other gstreamer* packages. Maybe I need some of them?
