To confirm that you would like
sbpanda@intekom.co.za
added to the opensuse mailing list, please send an empty reply to this address:
opensuse-sc.1154373858.olckfgdjffgfhiofploa-sbpanda=intekom.co.za@opensus e. org
Usually, this happens when you just hit the "reply" button. If this does not work, simply copy the address and paste it into the "To:" field of a new message.
This confirmation serves two purposes. First, it verifies that I am able to get mail through to you. Second, it protects you in case someone forges a subscription request in your name.

I am not sure what the heck I am doing. I am new(ish) to Linux 9.2 - updated 7 days ago. I have used the system for home use only - very little - few private things and e-mail/internet for the past year. My old HP printer (inkjet 600) gave up the ghost and I have tried to install an HP 1513 - unsuccessfully - even with a "Linux Expert". It could not be installed. I have taken the printer back and been credited. I now sit with no printer!!!!!!!!!!
Is there a printer I can successfully install - or is it a useless task and I must return to MS!!!!!! What am I doing wrong?? Is there a book called "Linux for Dummies??????" which also gives a translation of all the achronyms (KDE, CUSP, Wikis etc etc etc??.
