Anyone have recommendations for good USB-powered speakers which run under SuSE 10.1? The built-in speakers on my Acer laptop don't quite cut it.
Thanks in advance.
Why would you want them to be USB instead of a pair of simple plug into the sound jack amplified speakers..... (unless they don't put output jacks on laptops any more...)
If you have a place for speakers to live, why not connect to a small amplifier, like from Radio Shack, and real speakers, like bookshelf hi-fi speakers? Why not really enjoy the sound? I actually have floor-standing speakers, that I bought at a garage sale, and a Sansui amp that I got at a ham-radio flea-market. (Be _very_ careful of flea-market amplifiers--often there's one channel out. I know! The low power (5 W) Radio-Shack unit is a much safer bet.) --doug -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
