Generally, in email, top posting is the norm. It's the mail lists that are "non-standard".
Are you showing your age? Top-posting is an office environment habit encouraged by m$ apps. E-mail [n]etiquette began many years ago, long before Gates bought dos and spewed windoz and the mickey$oft apps broke every rule that was in place. Trimming and bottom-posting and ask-answer-ask-answer was required and non-conformers where severly chastised publicly. When aol first started, the users that they brought were consider the scourge of the net, a laughing stock. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
