Yes, if you switch to one of the virtual terminals (ctrl-alt-Fx where x=1 to 10 except 7) you will find a couple that gives you a command prompt. There you can go to /var/log/YaST2/ and copy the log files to somewhere permanent, like one of the working hard disk partitions for example, where you can get to them later. But, as I said in the other mail, the logs belong in a bug report in bugzilla.novell.com. There are a few developers who read these lists on and off, but not very often.
