I'm a bit confused about the sync and commands with rug and YaST... Say that I have a package that I want to set to "Taboo" (do not touch). Easy to do in yast2 sw_single, just find the package and mark it "Taboo". Done. How do I do it from command line? I was thinking along the line "rug la package", but if I then start yast2 sw_single, it's not marked as "Taboo" in there. So, I entered a "rug ref", then back to yast2, still no "Taboo" in there.. Entering "rug ll" gives me: # | Name | Catalog | Importance --+------------+---------+----------- 1 | package | (any) | (any) Have I misunderstood the "lock" concept? If so, how can I put a "Taboo" on a package from the command line? Also, is there some possibility to make a DB update only install via rug, like I can do with "rpm -i --justdb". -- Anders Norrbring Norrbring Consulting -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
