I've XP, Ubuntu, and SuSE 10.1 booting on this system. SuSE always comes up with the wrong time. If I run "yast2 timezone" the time will "right" itself as soon as the yast2 window comes up (i.e., I have need do no more than run this program and then dismiss it .. I don't even need to hit the Accept button). Why is this? I've SuSE configured to use local time, yet when it starts it acts as though it pulls GMT from the hardware clock. XP and Ubuntu both get it right. It also looks as though, during boot, ntp tries to start before the network is up, therefore fails, and no clock-set attempt is then ever made. -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
