Hello. For my situation Gnu Unifont is the only acceptable fixed-width font for my jedit. All other western fonts lack Chinese ideograph, all other Chinese fonts have extremely ugly (not hinted nor smoothen) alphabetics.
Hi Zhang Weiwu! I asked this question on IRC with the jEdit developers/community. First two responses: "you can play around with the fontconfig.properties in jre/lib" "If you can select Gnu Unifont from java, you can get it from jEdit" Note: if you've installed the IRC client plug-in for jEdit, you can open it from the plug-in menu, do a /CONNECT jEdit and you can chat with the jEdit community about this directly. There are usually a few of them online (it's a big community) hth & regards, Carl P.S.: Dog treat: X--X -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
