Hi all, Under 9.3 I created a mount point /data1 and changed the ownership to <username>:users. Then in /etc/fstab the entry for this mount point is /dev/sdb4 /data1 reiserfs acl,user_xattr 0 0 When this gets mounted the ownership of /data1 remains <username>:users. I recently installed 10.1 (retail) on some other machines and this behaviour seems to have changed. Now after mounting the ownership of /data1 changes to root:root. Upon unmounting, the ownership changes back to <username>:users. This makes it somewhat awkward to set permissions for this as drwx------ <username> users /data1 I notice that the version of mount has changed from 2.12q in 9.3 to 2.12r in 10.1, but this didn't help me much. I also couldn't seem to find any clues in the man pages.
