I'm sure there must be a simple fix but when I open my own website, my php files are treated as if they are downloads.
Since other web sites do not give thios problem, I guess that my php system is not running after my last reboot (it was before!)
Some clues as to wht to look at / configure would be much appreciated.
If you had it installed, then you'll need to look at Apache. Is it configured with PHP? Check in YaST under software to see if PHP is installed along with Apache.
Can you get to a default web page (.htm) on your local site?
Many Thanks, in advance
John
Thanks all for your guidance. I checked the installation of PHP and it looked like two versions (4 & 5) were overlapping. Reducing the installation to a single version, which also forced an update of squirrelmail, my main php provider for the moment, seems to have sorted this out. Oh yes, I have rebooted since and all seems to be still OK Best Wishes John
