However, It didn't solve my problem. I did track it down to a bug in firefox 1.5.0.3 which refuses to take a URL as a input.
Like " /usr/bin/firefox http://url.org. "
I replaced 1.5.0.3 with a older 1.5.0.1 and fixed the problem
I will likely even post it on mozilla.org
Two ideas: The first is to consider using Seamonkey... the integrated suite... as opposed to trying to integrate the separate pieces by yourself. The second is to do more experimenting and research before filing a Firefox 'bug'. I'm running 1.5.0.3 and having no problems opening hyperlinks in Firefox by clicking on them in KMail. Have you tried under KDE's "Personal Settings" (formerly KDE Control Center?): Try Main Menu > KDE Components > Component Chooser > Web Browser set to "firefox". You should also verify your Thunderbird 'default browser' setting and the string used to call it. I haven't used T-bird in a long time, but maybe you already know where these are? regards, Carl
