Update: Apparently when I go through configure->make procedure with the source it did compiled, despite warnings. However when I try using rpmbuild, it fails when I get to rpmbuild -bc SPECS/util-linux.spec Any help would be appreciated. Hi guys, I'm quite new to here, but I got this interesting problem on hand. I am trying to compile util-linux on SuSE10 box, the version I tried is 2.12q, which is the newest source rpm I found. But some strange errors come up and the compilation failed. But surprisingly it succeeded compiling on a suse 9.2 box.
