As far as I know, you can't.
I do, actually, put some coments on my configuration file, but it's not that
acurate as you may expect. For instance:
#FW_TRUSTED_NETS="home work kids"
FW_TRUSTED_NETS="200.200.200.200 201.201.201.201 202.202.202.202,tcp,12345"
But if you do have a lot of rules and if you don't have a wide terminal, it gets
truncated on the screen, just like this mail message would probably appear on
your mail client.
Good luck.

Subject: [SLE] Insert comments for rules on SuseFirewall
|
| Hi,
|
| How can I add comments for rules on SuseFirewall?
|
| I have to many rules to register and I need to do someting like this:
|
|
| FW_MASQ_NETS="192.168.0.1/32,0/0,tcp,1863 \ #msn to local server
| 192.168.0.2/32,0/0,tcp,1863 \ # this is for Mr. Smith (manager)
| 192.168.0.3/32,0/0,tcp,80 # and this rules is to me
|
| But this don't work because /sbin/SuSEfirewall2 failed if I put this.
|
| So, how can I insert this comments ?
|
| Thanks a lot!
