You likely need lirc-devel too.
There is no such thing as lirc-devel. Just use the --disable-lircc switch for configure
But i want lirc :) What is gcc excatly missing? I installed lirc from source, too. But that did not help either. Maybe because some env paths are wrong. If i would know what gcc is looking for, i could investigate myself. ;) Thanks, Mario
