I must ask if it is even worth all the effort to get a new kernel and system to run Xen, because the documentation just goes on about domains and mor domains..
What about just running windows, is Xen capable of doing this ?
According to the Xen web site, no - not at this time.
VMware workstation is reasonable priced and works fine.
And VMware server is free and works fine also.
When did THAT go free??? I must have missed the announcement - thanks for the heads up!!!
Actually, I think VMWare player is free. http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ You need to have created a virtual server on a (not free) VMWare workstation. If, however, you have a copy of Workstation already and have created a "virtual machine" then you can copy the machine over to your player install and use that. catherders.com?? /me reminds self to look that up after work... -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com || www.livebeans.com linux - genuine windows replacement part
