Okay, I'm probably going to rant, so forgive me a bit....
...I've been noticing more often that Firefox is locking up on certian sites. In fact, it simply freezes. I have to click close, and the dialog box thingy comes up telling me the application is not responding.
In all instances I've noticed that the culprit appears to be Flash version 8.
I've repeatedly asked Macromedia when they're coming out with 8.0 for Linux and have received no answer.

Any options from the group?
I personally think that Flash on a website portal is stupid and irresponsible (even Novell is guilty of this blasphemy) but there are apps I have used with Flash such as at NickJr.com and these are being upgraded to version 8. -- kai - www.perfectreign.com
Have you got an example of a site that crashes, I've not seen Firefox crash in over 3 years of use on Linux or Windows... I must admit I hate flash, especially the flaming adverts that appear like a mini-pop-up window on the page you are reading... Dave -- "I got to go figure," the tenant said. "We all got to figure.
