On my laptop (SUSE 10.0 / Dell 600m) there is a large round power button right above the keyobard. It has a nice feature, in that when I press it, KDE goes ahead and initiates the shutdown process, eventually turning off the laptop. My five-year-old son likes to use my laptop. He plays a custom version of LBreakout I setup, goes online to playhouse disney or nickjr, and messes with TuxPaint/TuxMath or plays Tux Racer. I now have a problem. The problem is that he will often come up to the laptop and see the blank screen. I have the screen blank after about 20 minutes of no activity when plugged in and after 1 minute when on battery. He will then press the power button, and shut off the system. I've looked around and googled but can't find anything. Does anyone know of a way to set the power button to intiate the shutdown dialog box instead of simply shutting down?
