I think it is better for the OP to rather try and understand what the vulnerabilities in Linux is and to use the appropriate tools for Linux.
yes, BUT the OP also needs to keep their confidence level, relative to what they know NOW (even if it's the way windows does things) if we wish them to move over with relative confidence.
Excellent point. That's what helps out newbies like me who haven't a clue and need a gentle guiding hand to upgrade from Windows to SUSE or other distributions.
