Hi,
Just wondering if there is a tool that will allow you to save a site in entirety that you are currently browsing?
I know of wget but it this does not suit me to go to a cmd line and enter a wget command. I would much rather open a Xwindow app that does download sites entirely to the local hdd or alternatively 'press a button' on the browser to initiate the site download.
If a app does not exist, how do I get it known to the open source community that the app is required, and that I am prepared to provide a fairly detailed specification on how the product should work/look ie is there a app suggestions zone of sourceforge or somewhere else?
In firefox there is the option: File --> Save Page AS... and you can save the entire site as long as the site is static and does not pull data from a database. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
