You are thing of Novell SUSE Linux, this guy is talking about Novell Linux Desktop 10... Two different beasts. Novell Linux Desktop is a corporate solution, it has a more tightly controlled list of available packages, has tools for pushing updates to the desktop from a central source etc. and you get corporate support options. openSUSE and SUSE Linux 10 are aimed at the SOHO and enthusiast markets and don't have the configuration tools for managing 100's of desktops centrally built in. AppArmor is included in SUSE Linux 10, don't know whether it is in NLD or not though, I would guess so... Am Dienstag, 7. Februar 2006 14:16 schrieb gonzlobo:
As far as I know, the $$ version has something called Novell AppArmor. No I don't use it (as most probably don't) either. You get a nice bound book too, but is it worth $50+, probably not. Oh, having the distro on DVD is kinda cool, but it'll be obsolete once 10.1 comes out.

Can someone explain what exactly I am seeing, I assume it is GNOME, but my desktop doesn't behave this way :-) , it is very Aqua (the Mac).
