ok i got the driver and installed it as you suggested went well. BUT i still cannot change resolutions higher than 800x600 and in kde, configure - desktop / display it is showing oHz as the refresh rate. and in yast, card and monitor properties the sync freq's are correct.....
Exit KDE by selecting <CTRL> + <ALT> + <Backspace> Type 'init 3' (without the quotes) to get out of GUI mode. Type 'sax2' - this will open the really cool x-configuration program. From within SaX2 you can play with your monitor settings and adjust accordingly. Be sure to select all the possible monitor settings you want. Once done you can restart X by typing 'init 5' to get back. I would suggest a reboot but most non-windows peeps here would throw large sharp daggers my way if I did. PS - enjoy the 600m. I've been using mine since July (no docking station) and have been really happy with both SuSE 9.3 and SUSE 10.0. -- kai www.perfectreign.com linux - genuine windows replacement part
