I was trying bit torrent (unfortunately windows version) to download some isos at opensuse, but it goes at only 20KB/sec. Downloading with Opera 8.51 on windows, it is going at 300KB/sec.
I'm only familiar with Azureus, and from what I can tell, it's a rather sophisticated BitTorrent client, but it can be configured to control the amount of bandwidth used for inbound and outbound traffic. Perhaps you just need to increase the limit your BitTorrent client is imposing, if that's possible.

I'm afraid I have tried one or two different Bit Torrent clients. All have been painfully slow. I gave up on them when SuSE 10 was going to take 8 weeks to download!!!! I'm on 2mb BB too. I FTP'd it in a few hours. Torrent? What Torrent, they're having a laugh :-))) -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas maybe over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way.
