Helix seems to work just fine for me. (It is also what was installed by default when I bought the new version.)
No...I get an error when trying to load the helix-engine about not being able to initialize it and to check the paths. :-(
That's because your paths are wrong. You need to go off the beaten path to the right one. Assuming you've got Real Player installed. (If you don't, then do.) /usr/lib/RealPlayer10/common /usr/lib/RealPlayer10/plugins /usr/lib/RealPlayer10/codecs HTH!
