Using the latest K3B, I want to burn a CD-R with an AVI file from my Linux box such that I can watch the movie on my Windows laptop...how do I do this? I can watch the movie off of the CD I burn on Linux, but can't seem to watch it properly on Windows. Obviously I need to select some option in K3B, but I don't know which.
It's more probable that you should install some codecs on Windows, it's nothing to do with CD burning. You burn the movie as an .avi file on the CD, right? You don't make a VCD or something... Then, try installing at least DivX and Xvid on Windows. http://www.divx.com http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.1.0-30122005.exe Or you could just use the open source player for Windows that has all the codecs: http://www.videolan.org
