First, the lm_sensors site has a link to signing up for their mailing list. It is very interactive. You will get the best and fastest help there.
I wanted to avoid to subscribe to yet another email list and hoped that somebody here is using lm_sensors as well with a similar configuration and can give me a quick answer. Well, when nobody else will answer, I'll go there. ;-)
Second, after you fiddle with /etc/sensors.conf (which contains a great deal of inline documentation itself),
Sadly, not complete and not current. temp[123]_{min,max} are not explained, but temp[123]_{hyst,over} -- which are not used for the lm85 example section. The sensors client program seems to pick up min/max and not hyst/over in its output. The lm_sensors documentation for the lm85 chip mentions also zone#_* values, but it's unclear if one better should use them. Part of the unclearness is that they are mentioned as documentation for a /proc interface that has obviously been superseded by a /sys interface without updating the documentation. :-( The /sys interface sports temp*auto* variables that aren't explained somewhere either. :-( I didn't mention that in my 1st post because I think that such irritations would really be only relevant on the lm_sensors mailing list.
