The problem: I got a Palm Tungsten E2 yesterday. Of course, Palm only includes CD-ROMs for 'doze and Mac OS X. Up until now, I'd usually take such CDs and examine them on my Linux box, as many things can be used/installed without 'doze (e.g. PDFs, Palm apps, etc.). However, this time round: No go. I can mount the CD, but I cannot read anything - the directory I mount it on is empty. I can only read it in 'doze.
On the German list, there were at least two more people with the same Palm and the same CDs and the same problem, so I'm curious as to what comes up on this list.
