Hi, Frank... thanks for your respond. Please help me.
This is my pg_hba.conf: acer-suse:/home/postgres/data/base/rumahsakit # cat pg_hba.conf ....... <<CUT>> ....... # TYPE DATABASE USER CIDR-ADDRESS METHOD
# "local" is for Unix domain socket connections only #local all all md5 local all all password # IPv4 local connections: #host all all 127.0.0.1/32 md5 host all all 127.0.0.1/32 password # IPv6 local connections: #host all all ::1/128 md5 host all all ::1/128 password acer-suse:/home/postgres/data/base/rumahsakit #
This says that postgres can be accessed from the following: - Localhost, via a file socket - Localhost, via TCP/IP If you want to be able to access it from anywhere else on your network, you need to add a line like the following: host all all aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd/32 password (where aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the IP address of the machine from which you'll be connecting.)
