try gettin getting of X. Do an init 3, then running sax2. sax2 will setup your monitor and video card. every time I do a kernel update I have to do that for my invidia card. so, either pull up a kinsole window, or run ALT-F1 and get to a text window. #> init 3 #> sax2 I would reboot, others say you can just run startx.. -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800
