It looks much better now. I'll make a test on the others PCs. Thanks! Michal Wolfgang Rosenauer wrote:

have a question about Firefox 1.5. I'm running SUSE 10.0, (only patched, no supplementary updates). I tried to upgrade Firefox to verison 1.5 (and nowadays 1.5.0.1 RC1) from projects repository. But this version is very slow, especially when viewing more pages including Flash objects. To be more specific I'll give you an example. In bookmarks toolbar I have a folder containing 5 shortcuts to common sites. If I click on this folder with MMB to get them opened as tabs, Firefox uses 100% CPU for ca 15 seconds. The scrolling through page is also slow and the reaction is delayed. This happens on all of my three different desktops. (all suse)
My primary PC: 2.8 GHz HT P4, 0.5GB ram, 20Mbit internet connection.
Only SUSE compiled FF 1.5 package behaves as described above. I tried out original Mozilla Linux i686 package and it's worked properly.
Any idea where's the problem?
Please try:
$ export MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1 $ firefox
Final 1.5.0.1 builds and 10.1 beta2 or 3 builds will do this in most cases by default.
