Then with the Happauge card still out I removed the 250 GB Seagate hard drive and connected a 20GB Western Digital (jumpered as master). This time after the packages were done loading the pooter went through its reboot. The green SuSE "welcome" screen came up. It gave the options for boot and we let it boot from hard drive. It did the count down and up came a black screen that said "Grub Loading Stage 2." It just sat there. After 5 minutes of no progress we reset the computer and tried again. Same thing "Grub Loading Stage 2" and it won't go past there.
I assume you were able to install; then perhaps you can boot from the CD/DVD, and tell it then to "boot installed system". If that works then perhaps you can configure grub to boot from floppy instead. Also, if you bought 9.3, you are entitled to the free installation support. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDSW1XtTMYHG2NR9URAuFpAJ9fSUTym3zdwno2HFXh4Tnrdx8XdwCfSD+P 90aANs+rKPoinKiL8OH6P5I= =56WG -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
